As the holiday season nears, two shopping days stand out for Brooklyn cannabis enthusiasts: Green Wednesday and Black Friday. If you’re preparing for Thanksgiving festivities or just looking for a timely deal, these days have turned into can’t-miss events for anyone considering a dispensary visit before the holiday rush.
What Is Green Wednesday?
Green Wednesday is the cannabis industry’s answer to Black Friday, a major sales day that lands just before Thanksgiving. Falling on November 25 in 2026, it’s become one of the most popular shopping periods for cannabis customers in states where it’s legal. At Soulmate, we’re preparing special deals and stocked shelves to help shoppers get ready for the long weekend and the celebrations ahead.
While Black Friday has long been known for electronics and retail bargains, Green Wednesday speaks directly to the pre-Thanksgiving crowd, those looking to unwind before the family gatherings or bring something extra to share with friends. The day has grown in popularity due to increased legalization, word-of-mouth, and savvy shoppers who know some of the best promotions can sell out before Friday even arrives.
What Deals Can Cannabis Shoppers Expect?
The types of holiday offers you’ll see around Green Wednesday and Black Friday often include discounts across cannabis categories, from flower and pre-rolls to edibles, vapes, and concentrates. Expect mix-and-match specials, limited product drops, and value pricing to reward early holiday shoppers. Our shop is known for easy online browsing and a selection spanning the most in-demand product types.
Deals and everyday pricing can change quickly around the holidays, so it helps to check our Soulmate online menu for current availability and updates as the Thanksgiving week approaches.
